The District has already enacted both reductions and enhancements to address a shortfall of $4 million for the 2017-2018 school year.  During the 2017-2018 school year, steps must be taken to address an additional $9 million budget deficit for the 2018-2019 year.

Due to the pressing concern to address this deficit, the Superintendent, with the support of the Chief Business Official, is forming a Superintendent's Fiscal Committee, establishing the charge of the Committee and developing a time line of necessary steps.

Membership on the Superintendent's Fiscal Committee, the charge of the Committee and the time line of steps will be shared with the Board of Trustees for their consideration.
