On June 29, 2017, a tentative agreement was reached with California School Employees Association (CSEA) Sylvan Chapter #73 in contract negotiations for 2016-2017. CSEA Chapter #73 announced that their membership had voted to ratify the tentative agreement. The final step in the negotiation process is for the Board of Trustees to vote regarding ratification of the tentative agreement.

Salary schedule for 2016-2017, and ongoing, is revised to reflect a 2% increase to the existing schedule. A 1% one-time payout for 2016-2017 will be made in addition.
