Motion to approve agenda as amended: Daniels/Alper and unanimously approved Public Comment: One comment on complaints. Communications/Social Media Policy BP/AR 1230 – Websites and Social Media by School-Connected Organizations Natasha Beery explained that the purpose of this policy is to give staff guidelines when working with organizations to engage communication. Participants reviews and discussed proposed language. This will go back to the communications team for further review. BP 5117: Interdistrict Permits Daniels explained that this draft includes the meeting between the student and superintendent or designee. Participants reviewed and discussed proposed language. This item will come back for further discussion. AR 1312.1: Complaints Regarding District Employees, Policies, Procedures and Practices Alper explained that the main change is to clarify what days means by changing it to “school days” from “working days” so that BUSD does not have to resolve complaints during the summer when many staff are not at work.
