Tonight will be the first public hearing. Contract openers between the District and APT are being "sunshined" for public inspection and comment over the next two weeks. The Board will hold a final public hearing and take action on the reopeners at the January 26, 2016 meeting, after which time negotiations will begin. The negotiation meetings are confidential.

Budget Development Calendar for Fiscal Year 2016-17. School districts are required to adopt a Budget Development Calendar to inform the public of the dates for providing input in the budget development. Board adoption is requested.

Board Member Smith shared that there was correspondence regarding Readmont and KNN's relationship to Zion. |

Board Member Raushenbush attended the Beach Parents meeting and Facilities Master Plan Community meeting. Board Member Ireland attended the Facilities Master Plan Community Meeting, Havens Parents meeting, Booster meeting and a meeting with Superintendent Booker and Director of Facilities Palmer on the Facilities Master Plan. Board Member Smith attended 3 Facilities Master Plan meetings. Vice President Pearson attended a talk by Mark Brackett, PMS Air Bands, hosted a high school book club, PPN talk with Ivy Chen to PMS parents, PADC meat and greet with Piedmont Police Department, Challenge Success PHS Committee distribution of cookies during finals at PHS/MHS. President Swenson attended the Facilities Board Workshop, ALPS meeting, made book deliveries, PHS Parent Club meeting and the Facilities Master Plan meeting.
