5.1.1. New School in North Central San Mateo - Consulting Proposal - Pedro Noguera
Rationale:

At the November 19, 2020, the Board of Trustees asked the Administration to move forward with the consulting proposal presented by Pedro Noguera for program options in the new elementary school in North Central San Mateo.

 
Recommended Motion:

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES APPROVE THE CONSULTING PROPOSAL FROM PEDRO NOGUERA.

6.1. Effective Governance with Equity Lens
Rationale:

Nicole Anderson, Consultant, and the Board of Trustees will discuss Board priorities, build deeper content awareness of educational equity, and examine policy through the equity statement lens.

 
Recommended Motion:

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES CONTINUE TO BUILD THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF EQUITY WORK IN THE SAN MATEO-FOSTER CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT.
