6.1. Request for Proposal – Executive Search Firm (Superintendent Search) (v)
Rationale:

At the Saturday, January 30, 2021 Board Meeting, Trustees voted to utilize a search firm for the position of Superintendent.  The attached Request for Proposal is a standard template with some introductory information about the San Mateo-Foster City School District.  Trustees should review the template and make any desired changes (if any) prior to issuance and distribution.

1.         Discuss and Review Request for Proposal and revise language if needed.

2.         Act on proceeding to issue the Request for Proposal

3.         Discuss next steps
 
Recommended Motion:
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES DISCUSS AND REVIEW THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, MAKE ANY DESIRED CHANGES (IF ANY) AND TAKE ACTION TO PROCEED WITH THE ISSUANCE OF THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
