6. SUPERINTENDENT SERVICES/BOARD
6.1. Execution of Contract with McPherson and Jacobson (v)
Rationale:
At the February 22, 2021 Board Meeting, Trustees voted to utilize the services of McPherson and Jacobson for the Superintendent Search.  A contract with the firm needs to be executed.
 
Recommended Motion:
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD, KENNETH CHIN, EXECUTE THE CONTRACT FOR MCPHERSON AND JACOBSON FOR THE SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH.

6.2. Superintendent Search Process(v)
Rationale:

At the February 22, 2021 Board Meeting the Trustees voted to utilize the services of McPherson and Jacobson for the Superintendent Search. 

During this meeting, the Trustees will work with the McPherson and Jacobson team to discuss the qualifications that they would like to see in a new Superintendent, approve a search calendar and provide direction on stakeholder groups for outreach. 

 

 
Recommended Motion:

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES DISCUSS THE QUALIFICATIONS THAT THEY WOULD LIKE TO SEE IN A NEW SUPERINTENDENT, APPROVE A SEARCH CALENDAR AND PROVIDE DIRECTION ON THE STAKEHOLDER GROUPS FOR OUTREACH.
