President Mecak called Alpine County Unified School District Special meeting to order at 5:00 pm.

Minutes:
President Mecak shared that Mr Clint Celio withdrew his letter of interest for board vacancy consideration therefore agenda item 5. A. 1 will be removed from the agenda.
4. HEARING OF THE PUBLIC
Quick Summary / Abstract:

The law allows the public to address the Governing Board on any matter, whether or not it is on the agenda, but the law prohibits action by the Governing Board on non-agenda items.  Reference Board Bylaw 9323.

5. BOARD ORGANIZATION
Minutes:
President Mecak explained to the candidates and public that this evening the board will conduct interviews and provisionally appoint a board member to replace Rachael Brothers. The term for this appointment will run from 10/7/2019 through the next election on 11/3/2020.

Mr Celio withdrew his application to allow new community members to serve on the board and offered his continued support to the district in the future.
