| The Board reviewed and discussed the Communication Norms that were developed at the beginning of the year. |
|
|
| Fagen, Friedman & Fulfrost attorney, Roy Combs, led a discussion on Brown Act communication. |
|
|
The Board of Education will continue the process of updating the Santa Rosa City Schools' strategic plan with Dr. Carlos Ayala. |
| The Board reviewed the proposed timeline for strategic planning. After consideration of the importance of community input and other scheduling matters, the time line was pushed through summer shifting the timeline by several months. The new expectation is that the board will have the draft language for all pieces of the strategic plan in place by the end of next month's June meeting. Then the board will make available language for public input. Public input will consist of responses from a community survey that will be made available in both Spanish and English as well as input from two community meetings as well as one regular board meeting. The community meetings will be held in Late August or Early September 2019. |
