6. Approval of Resolution 21-22-13 Authorizing Continued Use of Remote Teleconferencing Provisions Pursuant to AB 361 and Government Code section 54953
Quick Summary / Abstract:

In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Governor Newsom signed AB 361 into law, permitting public agencies to continue conducting meetings remotely in the following circumstances:

1. There is a proclaimed state of emergency, and state or local officials have imposed or recommended measures to promote social distancing; or

2. There is a proclaimed state of emergency, and the local agency’s meeting is for the purpose of determining, by majority vote, whether as a result of the emergency, meeting in person would present imminent risks to the health or safety of attendees; or

3. There is a proclaimed state of emergency, and the local agency has determined, by majority vote, that as a result of the emergency meeting in person would present an imminent risk to the health or safety of attendees.

The [public agency] will consider adopting Resolution [#], to make a finding that the current circumstances meet the requirements of AB 361 and Government Code section 54953 for the [board/council] to conduct meetings remotely

Our Science teachers have been working to identify and pilot new curriculum for our science courses. Associate Superintendent Shah and our science teacher professional learning community teaching staff will present their work and current findings to the board.
9.2. Review of COVID Relief Revenue and Related Plans
Quick Summary / Abstract:

I will provide the board with an overview of the vagarious State and Federal COVID Relief revenues and plans. All of the revenues and plans have been aligned with our district LCAP and are working to provide a variety of programs and services to our students and families as required by the various revenue sources.
