It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the November 19, 2019, special meeting agenda. |

These items are submitted for discussion. Any action that might be required will generally be scheduled for the next regularly scheduled Board meeting.

SPSAs for the SY 2019-20 incorporate each School Leadership Team’s (SLT) focus and address the following goals in alignment with the District’s LCAP: All graduates are socially just and ready for careers and college, English learners will become proficient in English while engaging in a rigorous culturally and linguistically responsive, standards-aligned curriculum, and All students and families engage in safe, well-maintained schools that are responsive and conducive to 21st century learning. SPSAs were reviewed by the English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) and approved by the School Site Council (SSC) of each school. To view the SMMUSD 2019-20 SPSA Board presentations, click here. The SPSAs will be approved by the Board of Education on November 21, 2019. |

| It was moved by Ms. Lieberman, seconded by Ms. Leon-Vazquez, and voted 6/0 (Dr. Tahvildaran-Jesswein was absent) to adjourn the meeting at 6:07 p.m. The next meeting is a regular meeting scheduled for Thursday, November 21, 2019, at 5:30 p.m. at eh district office: 1651 16th St., Santa Monica, CA. |
