The Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement, dated as of November 1, 2005, by and between the Irvine Unified School District and Community Facilities District No. 86-1 of the Irvine Unified School District, which created the Irvine Unified School District Financing Authority, provides that regular meetings of the Board of Directors of the Authority shall be held on such dates as the Board of Directors may fix by resolution from time to time, and if any day so fixed shall fall upon a legal holiday, then upon the next succeeding business day. The Agreement further stipulates each member of the Board of Education shall be a member of the Board of Directors of the Irvine Unified School District Financing Authority.
The Board of Directors hereby fixes the dates and time for the regular meetings of the Board of Directors as the same dates on which the Board of Education of the School District holds its regular meetings (or if any such date shall fall upon a legal holiday, then upon the next succeeding business day). An agenda (containing a brief general description of each item of business to be transacted or discussed) for any such regular meeting of the Board of Directors shall be posted at least 72 hours before any such regular meeting. Each such regular meeting of the Board of Directors shall be held at the same location as the regular meeting of the Board of Education held on the same date.

The District will make every attempt to accommodate any attendee or participant at this meeting who needs special assistance, when notice is given to the Superintendent's Office 949.936.5000 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. The board meeting agenda and support materials are accessible from the District's web site (www.iusd.org/board/) prior to the close of business on the Friday preceding the meeting. Any written materials distributed to the Board after the 72 hour posting period will also be made available for public review at the time of distribution. Copies may also be obtained at the District Administration Center or at the meeting. * Opportunities for public input occur at the beginning of each agenda item. Persons wishing to address the Board should complete a blue request form, available on the information table, and submit it to the Board Secretary. Each topic or item is limited to 30 minutes; each speaker is limited to 3 minutes.
