3. PUBLIC COMMENTS ON CLOSED SESSION ITEMS
Rationale:

An individual or Member of the public may address the Board of Trustees on any agenda item under closed session. If a member of the public wishes to address the Board of Trustees, they are to complete and submit the online Google Form, "SWSD - Request to Address the Board", located on our website: www.swhittier.net. Not more than three (3) minutes may be allotted to each speaker and no more than twenty-one (21) minutes to each subject, except by consent of the Board of Trustees. The Superintendent may refer the matter to the proper department for review.


 
4. CLOSED SESSION
Rationale:
The Board may be required to adjourn to closed session for discussion on matters of personnel, security, negotiations, student discipline, litigation and other matters as authorized by Government Code Sections 3459.1, 54956.6, 54956.8, 54957 and 54957.6 and Education Code Sections 35146 and 48914.
 
4.1. Evaluation Planning Session

The Board of Trustees and the Superintendent will participate in an Evaluation Study Session to review, discuss and develop a Superintendent Evaluation process facilitated by Consultant, Dr. Maria Ott.
