Funding source: LCAP-College and Career (goal 1, action 1). Total cost of trip: $6,000.00. Average cost per student: $158.00 (no student fees required). Chicago JEA/NSPA Nat'l HS Journalism Convention. Nov. 1-4, 2018. PRHS Crimson Newsmagazine students grades 10-12. Students will train, compete, learn, compare, and set goals for Crimson Media. 26 female and 6 male students will attend. 3 female and 1 male chaperones will attend. Funding source: ASB-Journalism. Total cost of trip: $23,000.00. Average cost per student: $718.00 (no student fees required). CSU San Jose, CSU Monterey Bay. Nov. 2, 2018 (over 150 miles). PRHS AVID students grade 12. Students will visit college campuses and will be applying at that time as well. 34 female and 17 male students will attend. 1 female and 2 male chaperones will attend. Funding source: AVID Budget. Total cost of trip: $1,700.00. Average cost per student: $33.00 (no student fees required). Santa Cruz Island. Nov. 16-20, 2018. PRHS students grades 11-12. As part of the Field Studies Collaborative students will travel to the UC reserve to research vegetation on the island. 15 female and 5 male students will attend. 3 female and 4 male chaperones will attend. Funding source: Field Studies Collaborative Budget. Total cost of trip: $7,360.00. Average cost per student:$368.00 (no student fees required).

H.5. APPROVE NON-PUBLIC/NON-SECTARIAN SCHOOL AGREEMENT WITH LA EUROPA ACADEMY

Due to the individual needs of this student and to comply with the services on the Individual Education Plan (IEP), PRJUSD placed student at Discovery Ranch for Girls in Springville, UT in October 2017. Upon the student holding age of majority, a new placement was required due to the age restrictions of Discovery Ranch for Girls. Student has been placed at La Europa Academy, Murray, UT. This agreement reflects the cost of board and care, basic education, mental health, and related services. SLO SELPA may reimburse PRJUSD as follows: 100% board, care, and mental health services; up to 50% of basic education and related services.

Due to student's improvement in social emotional and mental health well being, student has earned the need of a Lesser Restrictive Environment. Student has been placed at New Haven Youth and Family Services, in Vista, CA. This agreement reflects the cost of board and care, basic education, mental health, and related services. SLO SELPA may reimburse PRJUSD as follows: 100% board, care, and mental health services; up to 50% of basic education and related services.

I.5. APPROVAL OF FISCAL CRISIS & MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE TEAM (FCMAT) STUDY AGREEMENT

As part of SLOCOE's Conditional Approval of the 2018-19 Budget, the District has been required to contract with the Fiscal Crisis & Management Assistance Team (FCMAT) to complete a Fiscal Health Risk Analysis. This analysis will focus on 20 key factors that assist the District in determining its overall fiscal and operational health. Once the agreement has been approved and signed, FCMAT will assign a lead staff member who will coordinate the analysis. The analysis will consist of an orientation meeting, on-site review (includes interviews with staff and documentation review), and exit meeting. Once these dates have been scheduled, additional updates can be provided.
Financial Impact:
The total not-to-exceed cost of the study will be $11,500.
