| Staff will provide background and review key deal terms of the agreement with Federal Realty for the purchase of property for a future school site. This item is for discussion only. It is anticipated the board will take action at a subsequent meeting, likely on June 19.

| Staff will review a draft copy of the proposed agreement with the City of Mountain View wherein the City will be deeded two (2) acres of land on the property purchased from Federal Realty in exchange for $20 million.

| Staff will present modifications made to the scope of work based on direction given at the Board of Trustees meeting on May 28, 2019. The Board will also engage in further discussion regarding next steps in advance of outreach and community activities later this summer.

| The Board of Trustees will consider approving Amendments to Joint Use Agreements at Almond, Covington, Gardner Bullis, Loyola, Oak, Santa Rita, Springer Elementary Schools, including making necessary findings under Education Code section 17529.

| The District has Joint Use Agreements with various childcare providers at each of the District's elementary schools. The Joint Use Agreements for: (1) YMCA (Almond); (2) KCE Champions (Covington); (3) Children's House (Gardner Bullis); (4) Children's House (Loyola); (5) YMCA (Oak); (6) KCE Champions (Santa Rita) and (7) Abracadabra (Springer) are up for renewal. Prior to approving the Amendments to the Joint Use Agreements, the Board of Trustees will consider approving the following findings: The proposed Amendments to Joint Use Agreements will not: (a)interfere with the educational program or activities of any District school or class conducted on the property; (b)unduly disrupt the residents of the surrounding neighborhood; and (c)jeopardize the safety of the children at the property. |
