CLASSIFIED RESIGNATION Dylan Igoe, PE Specialist (.29375 FTE) at Daves Avenue Elementary has submitted his resignation effective Wednesday, December 18, 2019.
UNREPRESENTED EMPLOYMENT Laura Macfarlane, has been offered the Elementary Counselor (.60 FTE) position at the District Office, effective January 21, 2020.

The Williams Uniform Complaints Quarterly Report as of December 31, 2019 is presented to the Governing Board for approval and action. It is the recommendation of the Superintendent that the Governing Board approve the report as presented. |
According to the settlement of the Williams case, school districts are required to report quarterly to their governing boards any complaints they have received with regard to Textbooks and Instructional Materials, Teacher Vacancy or Misassignment, or Facilities Conditions, as required by Education Code 35186. In the second quarter of 2019, October 1 through December 31, 2019 there were no complaints received by the District. These quarterly reports will be filed with the Santa Clara County Office of Education.

This is the initial proposal for the 2019-20 negotiation cycle. Concentration will be on Article 9 Leaves, Article 6 Evaluation, along with Article 10 Wages and Article 11 Health and Welfare Benefits. We look forward to working together to continue the history of a strong relationship between the District and the Association during the upcoming negotiations. |

During the 2019-20 negotiation cycle the full contract will be open to discuss. We look forward to working together to continue the history of a strong relationship between the District and the Association during the upcoming negotiations. The "sunshine" clause of the Rodda Act requires that proposals be presented for public comment at a publicized school board meeting. |

A draft of the 2020-2025 LGUSD Strategic Plan is presented to the board for information. This culminates a comprehensive effort to bring all stakeholders together to create a five year vision and direction for LGUSD. The vision represents where we want to be as a District in the year 2025.
The following input process was conducted: - Focus group outreach to the staff, students, parents, and Los Gatos community (28 focus group meetings with over 500 individuals attending)

The administrative staff has reviewed the excellent work by the Steering Committee throughout the process and will be intricate in creating Action Plans for implementation in the 2020-2021 school year. The Action Plans will come to the board in May 2020.
