The April 15, 2021 Special Board Meeting will be conducted via videoconference with the board and staff meeting in the Fisher Multipurpose Room. Interested parties and members of the public must follow the instructions below to observe or provide comment during the meeting as in-person attendance is not available at this time due to ongoing public health concerns.

Individuals who wish to provide public comment during the meeting may join the meeting by Zoom at the following link:
At the designated times, individuals may provide comment on items on the agenda and on any item within the jurisdiction of the Governing Board. You may use the Raise Your Hand feature in Zoom to indicate your request to provide comment when the Board calls for public comment. District staff will announce and unmute each individual when it is their time to comment. When you are called upon, you may introduce yourself, turn on your microphone and camera, and provide your comment. Comments may not exceed three (3) minutes. |

A revised Consolidated Application for the 2020-2021 School Year is presented to the Governing Board for approval and action. It is the recommendation of the Chief Business Official and Superintendent that the Governing Board approve the Consolidated Application as presented. |
The Consolidated Application is submitted to the California Department of Education to indicate the Los Gatos Union School District intends to participate in the 2020-2021 Consolidated Categorical Programs for which the District is eligible. The programs are as follows: Program Description
Title I - Part A. Title I funds support improving basic programs to specifically support unique needs of low income, at risk and disabled students. Title II - Part A Title II funds support increased student achievement through professional development to improve the teacher quality and ensure teachers and administrators meet the No Child Left Behind requirements as highly qualified.
Title III - Part A Title III provides resources to enable all Limited English Proficient students attain English proficiency, develop high levels of academic understanding, and meet the same state academic standards as all other students.
Title IV - Title IV provides resources that support a well rounded education for all students and will be specifically focused on professional development related to effective use of technology and safe and healthy students.

It is the recommendation of the Chief Business Official and Superintendent that the Governing Board approve the Consolidated Application for the 2020-2021 school year as presented. |
The financial impact for the district is estimated to be $644,000 from the two new federal programs listed in the consolidated application. This funding is one time funding from the second and third stimulus funds and will be available through 2023.
