Quick Summary / Abstract:
Board policies set guidelines and procedures for Governing Boards and school officials to follow and enforce. Administrative Regulations proved detailed direction and information about the implementation of Board Policies. Board Policy 6158 and Administrative Regulation 6158 are presented to the Governing Board for approval.
Rationale:
A second reading of the attached Board Policy and Administrative Regulation are presented to the Governing Board for approval. The policy and regulation reflect mandates per CSBA and are unchanged from the first reading on July 22nd.  This Board Policy and Administrative Regulation, in place for the 2021-22 school year only, are in response to SB 130 which mandates that school districts offer an independent study for the 2021-22 school year. Once adopted, CSBA will upload the policies to Gamut Online.

E.4. Approval of Amended Local Control and Accountability Plan
Quick Summary / Abstract:
The amended Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) for the 2021-2022 fiscal year is presented to the Governing Board for approval and action. Also included are the Budget Overview for Parents and the 2020-2021 Annual Update.
Rationale:
Based on feedback from the County Office of Education, the LCAP has been edited to reflect the following changes: Expenditure amounts were added to Goal 3, and the Increased and Improved Services section was completed.
 
Recommended Motion:
The Local Control Accountability Plan for the 2021-22 fiscal year is presented to the Governing Board for approval and action.
