CLASSIFIED EMPLOYMENT Jennifer Dickson has been offered an Instructional Assistant I position (.75 FTE) at the District Office effective October 18, 2021. Rachel Klug has been offered an Instructional Assistant I position (.75 FTE) at Louise Van Meter Elementary effective November 16, 2021.
Carolyn van Niel has been offered a Temporary Health Clerk position (.475 FTE) at the District Office effective November 1, 2021 - January 31, 2022.
Holly Schroeder has been offered a Library Media Specalist position (.675 FTE) at Louise Van Meter effective November 1, 2021.

Per Measure B, the Parcel Tax Oversight committee will annually present their findings to the Board of Trustees. Financial Advisory Parcel Tax Oversight Committee (FAPTOC) member Michael Paige, will present the Parcel Tax Oversight Committee Annual Report for 2020-2021 to the Governing Board for approval and action. |
The Financial Advisory Parcel Tax Oversight Committee (FAPTOC) met on October 6, 2021 to review the District's expenditures in order to verify compliance with the parcel tax language. Staff provided detailed expenditure reports for the 2020-2021 fiscal year. The Committee will present that the parcel tax collections have been used in accordance with the ballot language of Measure B and in the spirit of the promise made to voters. |

Fisher Middle School Math Teacher Alicia Barton, will present an overview of how learning disruption is being identified through data and addressed through student-centered instruction to the Governing Board. This is for informational purposes only. No action will be taken. |
The school closures in the 2019-20 and 2020-21 school years have impacted students academic, behavior, and social-emotional well-being. LGUSD is using the term learning disruption instead of learning loss. At the beginning of the 2021-22 school year, grade level and content area teams were asked to submit plans for how they were going to address learning disruption.This update to the board will share how learning disruption is being addressed throughout the district. |

Chief Business Official Terese McNamee will present an outdoor classroom and landscaping update to the Governing Board for discussion. |
With the initial receipt of developer fees from the North 40 development, we are preparing our long term facilities plans including play fields and outdoor classrooms. After meeting with various stakeholder groups to prioritize conceptual designs this phase of the plan includes schematic designs in order to begin construction documentation. This is for discussion purposes only and will be brought back to the board for final review and approval. |

As part of our Long Term Capital Planning, we anticipate spending over $12M in the next five years on Landscaping, Playing Fields, Outdoor Classrooms, Safety, Solar, STEAM flexible classrooms, In December, we anticipate requesting approval for $3M in capital projects in order to begin construction documents on the Outdoor Classroom areas. The remaining capital budget will return to the Board for final approval next spring. |

Action will be taken at the December 14, 2021 Regular Board Meeting. |
LEAs that receive funding pursuant to California Education Code (EC) Section 41480(a) are required to develop and adopt a plan, by December 30, 2021, that delineates the expenditure of funds apportioned including the professional development of teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals and classified staff. The plan shall be presented in a public meeting of the governing board before its adoption in a subsequent meeting. |

The county committee on school district organization has a major role in the review and approval of proposals to change school district organization in the county. Members must be elected to the committee by an annual meeting of school district trustee representatives that shall be called by the county superintendent of schools and shall be held between October 1 and December 1 of each year. |
