The purpose of the MOU is to establish a formal working relationship between the parties and to set forth the operative conditions that will govern the partnership. The goal of the partnership is to provide quality professional development and support to eligible induction participating teachers (PTs) and their support providers (SPs) as established in the California Common and Program Standards via the Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment (BTSA) induction program. The BTSA program allows teachers with preliminary credentials to clear their credentials through the induction process.
